When deciding where I wanted to focus on I went through the primary sources available to us. After seeing that there was an article on slavery in New York I felt obligated to choose it as this is I was born and have lived ever since. Although the article did give plenty of information on slavery in New York I found it did not give me enough individual locations I could speak of. They gave me Manhattan island which I could locate, and they gave me other colonies which were easily located however I would have preferred if they gave me more specific locations within New York so that my actual map could show a proper distance travelled.
